We are thrilled to showcase the successful completion of our latest project at 35 Britain Street, situated in the vibrant Moss Park neighborhood of Toronto. This area, known for its century-old brick and beam buildings, has recently witnessed significant growth and redevelopment, blending high-rise residential buildings, new office towers, and exceptional boutique office spaces with its vintage retail shops.
In collaboration with the August Group, a rapidly expanding local commercial real estate investment team, Abeco Group has played a pivotal role in the development, revitalization, and delivery of this landmark project. Our joint efforts focused on seamlessly integrating the entire construction process, ensuring the project met and exceeded the client’s expectations.
This comprehensive renovation breathed new life into a century-old brick-and-beam building, modernizing it with the latest structural, mechanical, and electrical updates. Key features of this transformation include:
- Total renovation to meet current Ontario Building Code standards, spanning across 8,377 square feet over three unitized floors.
- Restoration of the building’s original brick and beam construction, completed in March 2023 to the highest quality.
- Each floor features individual access control, a kitchenette, three washrooms (including one barrier-free), along with a complete network infrastructure and WiFi extenders.
- Installation of a full-size elevator, ensuring barrier-free accessibility throughout the building.
- Flexible floor plans with the option to remove existing furniture, catering to a variety of tenant needs.
As an extra feature, the building comes turnkey with boardroom furniture and multiple high-tech workstations, offering plug-and-play connectivity.
